Liberals vow to fix 12 Sydney bottlenecks

A dozen bottlenecks across Sydney roads will be fixed under a $450 million pledge by the NSW government.

Premier Gladys Berejiklian is promising to take action to ease 12 "pinch points" across the city if re-elected on March 23, including using drones to help monitor and clear incidents quicker.

"We are making this investment to keep our roads moving so drivers can spend less time sitting in traffic and more time doing what they need to or what they enjoy," she said in a statement on Friday.

Among the roads to be upgraded are Pennant Hills Road in Carlingford, Forest Road at Beverly Hills and Peakhurst, and The Horsley Drive in Fairfield.
