Large tractor stolen from NSW property

Thieves have made a slow getaway in an eight-tonne tractor in central NSW.

The agricultural vehicle was stolen from a property near Narromine on Monday night or Tuesday morning.

Police believe it was driven about one kilometre along the property's private road before it was loaded onto a truck.

The green-and-yellow John Deere 8110 tractor weighs more than 8000 kilograms and is not registered for use on public roads.
