Koala joeys delight Sydney zookeepers

Koala joeys Baxter and TJ have embraced springtime in Sydney by emerging from their mothers' pouches at Taronga Zoo.

The zoo's keepers and visitors have been delighted by the sight of the male joeys, eight-month-old Baxter and seven-month old TJ, in recent weeks.

"We've been seeing arms and legs and even a little pair of eyes peeking out in recent weeks," Koala keeper Laura Jones said.

Baxter and TJ are two of three birthed though Taronga's breeding program this season, following the arrival of female joey Kirra in June.
