A jury is deliberating in the trial of a Sydney woman who stabbed her cousin to death after a violent and prolonged argument over her new Mercedes.

Katherine Abdallah, 37, has pleaded not guilty - on the grounds of self-defence - to the manslaughter of Suzie Sarkis, 21, at the older woman's Brighton-Le-Sands townhouse on February 9, 2013.

The NSW Supreme court jury is considering its verdict at the trial which began on November 8.
