Jury deliberating at terror-related trial

A jury is deliberating at the Sydney trial of a young married couple accused of plotting to carry out a terrorist act.

Alo-Bridget Namoa and Sameh Bayda, both now 21, have pleaded not guilty to conspiring to do an act in preparation for a terrorist act involving detonating an improvised explosive device, an incendiary device, or using a bladed weapon.

The NSW Supreme Court jury retired on Tuesday morning to consider its verdicts.
