iiNet services down across the country
AAP
Customers of internet provider iiNet are fuming over the company's handling of a service outage affecting email and phone lines.
iiNet reported the national outage in a Facebook post on Wednesday morning when some customers couldn't log into their email or contact the support line, but it took a bit of digging for customers to figure out what was wrong.
"I didn't think to look here - would have saved me a couple of hours trying to work out why I couldn't use my email and why my user name and password were rejected and wouldn't work on webmail either and why I couldn't phone anyone at iinet," Susan Barnes said on Facebook.
