Hunt for convicted sex offender in Sydney
AAP
A convicted sex offender with a history of absconding has gone missing in Sydney's eastern suburbs.
Police issued an appeal on Sunday to help track down 56-year-old Sean Broaders, who was last seen on Easy Street at Randwick just before 8pm on Saturday.
Broaders has extensive previous convictions for sex offences, and in 2007 absconded from a secure psychiatric hospital in Melbourne.

He was found six days later in Adelaide after having shaved off his beard.
Police said Broaders requires regular medication. They described him as thin and bald, with a grey-and-white beard.
