Hundreds of weapons seized in Sydney home

Police have seized drugs and hundreds of illegal weapons from a southwestern Sydney home after answering a domestic complaint.

Officers were called to a house at Lurnea on Tuesday and allegedly found an arsenal of weapons.

They included 116 metal knuckle dusters, 20 stun gun cartridges, 44 throwing knives, 65 canisters of capsicum spray and 96 key card knives.

Police say they also seized small amounts of methylamphetamine (ICE) and cannabis.

A 30-year-old man has been charged and is due to appear at Liverpool Local Court on August 19.
