Hundreds of cannabis plants seized in NSW

Police have seized $800,000 worth of illegal drugs in raids across Sydney's west and southwest.
More than 200 cannabis plants, equipment and about 20 kilograms of cannabis were allegedly found when police searched properties in Merrylands, Georges Hall and Cabramatta on Wednesday morning.
A 56-year-old woman and 46-year-old man were charged with commercial supply of cannabis, two counts of commercial cannabis cultivation and two counts of stealing electricity.

The duo will appear in Liverpool Local Court on September 28.
