HSC results out for more than 76,000

More than 76,000 Year 12 students across NSW have received their HSC marks.

The Board of Studies released the final year marks from 6am on Wednesday prompting many students to take to social media in response.

Students now await the release of their ATAR results, which are due out on Thursday at 9am.

The marks can determine their entry into university courses.

Those who topped the state in their subjects were celebrated at a special First in Course ceremony on Tuesday.
