House fire in Sydney's southwest: police

The cause of a house fire in Sydney's southwest remains a mystery as forensic investigators examine the scene, police say.

Emergency services were called to the blaze at Roselands about 8.40pm on Wednesday where they found the home well-alight and the roof damaged.

Police say no one was inside the home at the time.
