Emergency crews battling fierce house fire north-west of Sydney

Emergency crews are battling a fierce blaze at a property near bushland in Cherrybrook in Sydney’s north-west.

The property is well alight and large plumes of thick white smoke can be seen coming from the roof of the home.

Authorities initially held fears for one person inside the property, but they have since been accounted for.
