Hotel held up in Sydney's inner west

Four masked men armed with machetes and a firearm have held up a hotel in Sydney's inner west and fled with cash.

Police say the men, wearing dark clothing and balaclavas, entered the hotel on Darling Street in Rozelle at about 10.50pm on Monday as staff were closing up.

They threatened three staff members and demanded money before leaving with an amount of cash.

A crime scene has been established and police are urging anyone with information on the hold-up to contact Leichhardt police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
