Highway driver uses squeegee instead of wipers

No wipers, no worries mate.

That appears to be the motto of an inventive Aussie driver who was filmed on a NSW highway last week.

Undeterred by a bit of drizzle, or his lack of windscreen wipers, the man is armed with a squeegee and a do-it-yourself attitude.

With his arm out the window, the driver of the red Holden Commodore calmly clears the rain off his windscreen as he speeds along.

“There you go, squeegee mate, squeegee that’s all,” an impressed onlooker says.

The extraordinary sight was filmed by Sydney resident Shabz Malaz, and has been viewed more than 375,000 times since it was uploaded to the Dash Cam Owners Australia Facebook page on February 5.
