Hiding man charged in Sydney drug raid

A man has been discovered hiding under a Sydney home during a drug raid in which police netted more than $500,000 of cannabis.

The 26-year-old was found underneath the Baulkham Hills home when police allegedly uncovered a sophisticated indoor cannabis plantation spread across five rooms.

The cannabis plants have an estimated street value of $625,000.

The man has been charged with multiple drug offences and will appear in Parramatta Local Court on Friday.
