Hey Dad! star makes fresh appeal bid
AAP
Former Hey Dad! star Robert Hughes is taking his fight against child sex abuse convictions to the High Court.
The 67-year-old's lawyer on Monday confirmed he had filed documents in the nation's highest court seeking special leave to appeal against Hughes' convictions and jail term.
Hughes was jailed for at least six years in 2014 after a jury found him guilty of 10 charges relating to sexual and indecent acts perpetrated on four young girls in the 1980s and 1990s.

The NSW Court of Criminal Appeal threw out his appeal against the convictions and sentence last month.
