Helicopter called for NSW wheelchair crash

A man has been flown to a Sydney hospital suffering from a severe head injury after crashing his wheelchair scooter on the Central Coast.
The 60-year-old was placed in an induced coma by a CareFlight doctor and flown to Sydney.
CareFlight director Ian Badham said the man was unconscious at the scene.

The man is in a serious but stable condition.
