Gun carrier held at Sydney train station

A man has been charged after he was allegedly found carrying a rifle and ammunition at a train station in Sydney's southwest.
Police say officers on patrol at Liverpool station stopped the 27-year-old on Thursday morning.
He was allegedly carrying a rifle case containing an unregistered rifle, two laser sights, ammunition and torches.

Further inquiries revealed the man was wanted in connection with an alleged break and enter at Bonnyrigg Heights in September.
He was charged with break and enter, theft and firearm offences and was granted conditional bail.
He will appear in Liverpool Local Court on November 18.
