Greens want privacy at abortion clinics

Privacy zones are needed around NSW abortion clinics to ensure women can access them without being harassed, the NSW Greens say.

Candidate for Newtown Jenny Leong said the Greens would invite MPs to join a cross-party work group to discuss the idea after the March 28 election.

"This is way to ensure that women who do want to access those clinics ... at serious times in their lives are able to do so without intimidation from anti-choice campaigners," she told AAP on Sunday.
