Gravestone importer fined for work injury
AAP
A western Sydney tomb importer has been fined $90,000 after a man had his foot crushed by a forklift while unpacking gravestones.
The 65-year-old was helping unpack marble and granite gravestones when his foot was run over and mangled by the front tyre of a forklift in December 2014.
SafeWork NSW has fined Regent's Park business Dynasty Stone Art $90,000 after a district court found the forklift driver was unlicensed and did not have a traffic management plan.
