Glass in Woolies pies prompts recall

Woolworths recalled a range of pies due to fears they could contain glass as well as chicken and veggies.

Woolworths issued a recall notice on Thursday for certain Select brand chicken and vegetable four-packs, 51 days after they first appeared on supermarket shelves.

Woolworths say packs with best before dates of October 9 and 10 should be returned.

Customers who have eaten one of the pies should seek medical advice if they feel unwell.
