Fresh murder charge in Hermidale shootings

A 61-year-old man has been charged with a third count of murder over the deaths of three people in the western NSW village of Hermidale, near Nyngan.
The bodies of two people, a 28-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman, were found with gunshot wounds on the rural property on the morning of June 26.
A 59-year-old man's body was found in a burnt caravan.

Allan Geoffrey O'Connor is due to appear at Bourke Local Court on August 20 on murder and firearms-related charges.
