Four injured in NSW 'road rage' crash

A ute has rolled several times in an alleged road-rage crash on the NSW mid-north coast, which left four people in hospital.

Two drivers, aged 29 and 26, allegedly got into a punch-up at a Taree service station on Sunday night.

A little later, the pair - who were driving a Toyota ute and Mercedes sedan - collided, causing the ute to roll a number of times, police say.

The Toyota's 29-year-old driver and his three passengers, a man and two women, suffered non-life threatening injuries and were flown to John Hunter Hospital.

Police say the Mercedes driver was not injured and fled the scene, but turned himself in to Taree police on Thursday night, and was charged with four offences, including furious and menacing driving.
