Four hurt in Sydney fire
AAP
Three police officers suffered smoke inhalation after rescuing a man from the second floor of a burning west Sydney home.
The fire took hold of the top level of the Punchbowl home on Friday night, and the trio ran inside when two other residents told them their son was still in an upstairs bedroom.
The 36-year-old man was taken to hospital while the three officers were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.
