Former Comanchero boss 'Mick' Hawi to face sentencing

Former Comanchero bikie boss Mahmoud "Mick" Hawi is due to face sentencing proceedings over a fatal brawl at Sydney Airport.
The 34-year-old was released from jail earlier this year after his conviction for the 2009 murder of rival Hells Angels associate Anthony Zervas was overturned by the Court of Criminal Appeal.
He will now face a sentencing hearing at the Supreme Court on Friday for Mr Zervas's manslaughter instead.
Mr Zervas suffered massive head injuries after he was attacked with bollards and kicked, punched and stomped on during the public bikie clash.
Although Justice Robert Allan Hulme said in 2012 that he was not satisfied beyond reasonable doubt that the bikie boss inflicted any blows on Mr Zervas, Hawi was the only person convicted of his murder.
Ten other Comancheros and two Hells Angels members either pleaded or were found guilty of other charges.
