Forensic specialists to examine bones found on NSW south coast

Forensic experts will examine bones found by a member of the public on the NSW south coast to determine if they are human.

A man out crabbing at Culburra, east of Nowra, made the discovery just before 6pm last night.

He called police and officers from Shoalhaven Local Area Command attended the location and set up a crime scene, with specialist forensic officers also attending.

Police say the bones have been secured but are yet to undergo specialist examination.
