A floral tribute to the Anzac diggers and their successors will beshown for the first time in Sydney on Thursday to mark the centenary of the Gallipoli landing.

NSW Governor David Hurley will be at the Royal Botanic Garden to unveil commemorative flower beds honouring Australia's war heroes.

He will be joined by NSW Environment and Heritage Minister Mark Speakman, along with retired and serving military personnel.

The centrepiece will be the Anzac Star Bed, a recreation of a flower bed planted at the garden 100 years ago as a tribute to the original Anzacs.
