Firefighters continue to fight bushfire threatening homes in NSW Central West

Firefighters are defending homes against a bushfire burning in a small village in the NSW Central West.
A watch and act warning is in place for Home Hills Road in Bogee, north of Lithgow.
"Firefighters remain on scene undertaking property protection where required," the NSW Rural Fire Service said in a warning issued at 7.09pm AEDT.

"If you are between Marsden Road and Capertree River on Home Hills Road and Marsden Road, follow the advice of emergency services personnel on scene.
"Glen Alice Road is partially closed from Dabee Road in the north."
The NSW RFS said residents should stay alert and monitor their surroundings.

The 399-hectare bushfire is burning in a north-easterly direction under south-westerly winds.
The NSW RFS said an east-south-easterly wind change is predicted after 7pm.
