Firearms stolen from gun safe in NSW

Thirteen firearms and ammunition have been stolen from a property in NSW's Central Tablelands over the weekend.

Thieves broke into a Rylestone property near Mudgee between Saturday afternoon and Sunday evening, NSW Police said on Monday, adding the firearms were taken from a gun safe.

Mudgee police are investigating and have asked anyone with information to come forward.
