Fire alarm stops Sydney trains
AAP
Sydney train passengers have had a disrupted morning commute after a fire alarm went off at a signal box at Central station.
Trains ground to a halt after the false alarm at the signals operating hub forced the evacuation of all staff for about five minutes at 8.15am on Friday, Sydney Trains said.
Trains were soon online and running again but passengers were told to expect delays of up to 15 minutes on all lines for the rest of the morning.
