Female pedestrian, 83, dies in NSW crash

An 83-year-old woman has died after being hit by a car in Sydney's south.
NSW paramedics were called to Banksia Road in Caringbah after the woman was struck about 11.30am on Wednesday. She died at the scene.
The female driver of the car was uninjured, a police spokeswoman told AAP.
