Female NSW Police recruit allegedly sexually assaulted by male colleague

NSW Police are investigating an allegation that a female recruit was allegedly sexually assaulted by a male colleague at the force's training academy.
In a short statement today, police said the alleged assault at the academy in Goulburn, about two hours south-west of Sydney, was reported on Sunday, and investigations are continuing.
"The alleged female victim, who is a student at the academy, is receiving support and welfare assistance from academy staff as the investigation continues.

"A male student at the academy has been suspended pending the outcome of the investigation."
