Extra large delivery for Taronga Zoo

Sydney's Taronga Zoo is celebrating the birth of a male Asian elephant.

Elephant Pak Boon gave birth to the 130kg calf on Friday morning following an almost two year pregnancy.

A zoo spokesman says the birth was relatively quick, lasting just over half an hour, with both mother and calf in good health.
