Ex-teacher charged with assaulting boys

A former teacher has been charged with historical indecent assaults of students at a high school in Sydney's inner west.

Three boys, aged 12 and 13 at the time, are alleged to have been indecently assaulted between 1971 and 1974 at the Lewisham school.

Following inquiries, police arrested a 79-year-old man near Wyong on Thursday and charged him with four counts of indecent assault and common assault.
