Ex-NSW doctor faces more assault charges

Police have made additional allegations against a former eastern Sydney doctor facing charges of assaulting his patient.

Officers originally charged the 77-year-old man in September 2019 after a woman reported being sexually assaulted while receiving treatment a number of times between 2010 and 2014.

Police will allege in court the Edgecliff doctor also sexually assaulted two other women on a number of occasions during individual consultations between 2000 and 2001.

The man remains on bail and will appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Thursday.
