Ex-inmate charged with stealing jail keys

A man has been charged with stealing a set of jail keys as he was being released from a Sydney prison last month.
The ex-inmate allegedly took the keys as he was being processed for release from the Parklea Correctional Centre on December 22.
The 43-year-old was arrested in Prymont on Thursday and refused bail to face Parramatta Local Court on Friday charged with larceny.
