Eldery woman in coma after struck by car

An elderly woman is fighting for life in hospital after being struck by a car reversing out of a Sydney driveway.
The 85-year-old was allegedly hit by the 35-year-old male driver in North Ryde at about 10am Thursday, police said.
She was found unconscious and placed in an induced coma at the scene, CareFlight said.
