Man dies in NSW car and truck crash

A man has died after a truck and car crashed on NSW's Hunter region coastline.
The male driver of the car died at the scene of the Williamtown collision about 4.40pm on Tuesday.
The truck driver was taken to hospital for mandatory testing and a report will be prepared for the coroner.

The incident follows an earlier fatal collision near Coffs Harbour.
An 85-year-old woman was killed when the car she was driving hit a tree in Toormina at about 9.30am.
