Elderly man hit by truck on Sydney road

An elderly man has been taken to a Sydney hospital with serious leg injuries after he was hit by a truck.
The man in his 70s was hit on a busy road in Caringbah about 12pm on Friday, ambulance officers say.
He has been taken to St George Hospital in a serious condition.
