Eighth person charged over fatal NSW brawl

An eighth person has been charged over a brawl that resulted in the death of an 18-year-old man in Sydney's southwest last year.

Police were called to a property on Chester Road in Ingleburn on May 24, 2019 over reports of a brawl in the street. An 18-year-old man was found on the road with serious head injuries and later died in Liverpool Hospital.

A 26-year-old man was charged on Monday with concealing a serious offence and as an accessory after the fact to murder.

He was refused bail and is expected to appear via videolink at Campbelltown Local Court on Tuesday.

Four men - one then aged 17, two aged 18 and a 19-year-old - have been charged with murder over the incident.

A 27-year-old woman was charged with concealing a serious indictable offence and being an accessory after the fact to murder while two girls - aged 15 and 19 - have also been charged with concealing a serious offence.

All remain before the courts while investigations are ongoing.
