Drunk driver blows more than six times the limit after smashing through fences in western Sydney

A man whose car smashed through several neighbours' front yards in western Sydney was allegedly more than six times the legal blood alcohol limit.

The 32-year-old was reversing down his driveway in Werrington Downs just after 7pm Friday when he lost control of the vehicle.

He was charged with high-range drink driving and his licence was suspended after he recorded an alleged breath test reading of 0.308.

He will appear in Penrith Local Court on Monday.
