A driver who smashed into two other cars and hurtled off a metre-high wall in Sydney's west was allegedly more than six times over the limit when he got behind the wheel.

The man's black Jeep was stopped in its tracks when it hit a third vehicle after ploughing through a hedge garden and off the retaining wall on Thursday afternoon, police say.

It's alleged the 44-year-old had already struck two vehicles in a car park on St Martin's Crescent in Blacktown.

He was charged with high-range drink driving after returning a breath analysis reading of 0.326 and was granted bail to appear in Bankstown Local Court next month.
