Driver 'fled police' before Sydney crash

Police have charged an unlicensed driver who allegedly fled from police and smashed into another car during a pursuit in Sydney's southwest.
Officers tried to stop the 24-year-old's Holden Commodore in Lakemba on Tuesday morning when he allegedly sped off before slamming into a car driven by a teenager.
The teenager was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The other driver was charged with three offences including police pursuit and was refused bail to appear in Burwood Local Court on Wednesday.
