Sydney drunk driver rear-ends police car

A drunk driver has been charged after crashing into a manned police car at a red light in Sydney's southwest.

The 40-year-old woman was three times over the limit when she rear-ended the marked police car while it was stopped at a red light in Padstow Heights on Monday night, police say.

Her licence has since been suspended and she will face Sutherland Local Court on September 8.
