Dozens of people have gathered outside the Indonesian consulate in Sydney pleading for the lives of drug smugglers Andrew Chan and Mayuran Sukumaran to be spared.
The Bali Nine ringleaders were part of a group who have received warning they may face the firing squad as early as Tuesday for their role in a plot to smuggle 8.3kg of heroin from Bali to Australia.
"I'll be destroyed as a person if this goes ahead, " Kavita Krishnan, a friend of Sukumaran's, told AAP.
