Disabled teenage girl 'sexually assaulted'

A man has been charged with sexually assaulting an intellectually-disabled teenage girl in Sydney's southwest.

Police say the 17-year-old contacted them in the early hours of Tuesday shortly after being attacked in Menangle.

The teenager was taken to hospital and a 31-year-old man was later arrested at a home in Badgerys Creek and charged with four offences including aggravated sexual assault.

He's been refused bail and will appear in Campbelltown Local Court on Wednesday.
