Decontamination zone set up at Westmead
AAP
All services have resumed at Westmead Hospital after a decontamination zone was set up when eight patients with potential exposure to a hazardous material were admitted.
Fire & Rescue NSW set up the zone at an ambulance bay about 4pm on Friday, as the hospital received the male patients.
The men were still at the hospital in a stable condition on Friday evening and there was no risk to other patients, staff or visitors, a Westmead statement said.
