Cyclist dies in collision with car in NSW

A cyclist is dead after crashing into a car on the NSW north coast.

The 59-year-old man was riding on the Pacific Highway at Ballina when his bike collided with an SUV driven by an 81-year-old man on Wednesday morning.

The cyclist died at the scene and the driver was taken to Ballina Hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.
