A three-storey penthouse atop James Packer’s proposed Crown Sydney hotel and casino resort at Barangaroo may top $100 million if sold.
Developers reportedly want to sell the top three floors as one apartment, potentially generating enough international interest to attract an unprecedented nine-figure sale price.
Founder of architecture firm Wilkinson Eyre, Chris Wilkinson, revealed the penthouse plans at a meeting with property developers in Sydney, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.
Crown has been negotiating with Barangaroo developer Lend Lease, however a development application is yet to be lodged with the state government.
Earlier this month, Crown was awarded a licence to operate the casino for VIP-only gambling at Barangaroo from November 2019, pending approval and construction of the integrated hotel.
