Injured worker rescued from deep pit at construction site

A man has been rescued after he became trapped at a construction site in Sydney’s south.
The man, aged in his mid-30s, became confined down a 15-metre pit unable to move his legs and with a possible head injury.
NSW Ambulance paramedics, including a special operations team and medical team, undertook a vertical extrication process before midday.

The man was removed from the pit and is being assessed.
He appears to have head and leg injuries.
